Christina P. ‘Chrissy’ Henninger

Christina P. “Chrissy” Henninger, 44, Altoona, died Saturday morning at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Stephen C. Lang and Mary Ann Silvis. On Aug. 23, 2008, she married Mark L. Henninger in Altoona.
Surviving are her husband, Mark; two daughters: Morgan Pensyl and Jessie Pensyl; her mother, Mary Ann Silvis and father, Richard; her father, Stephen Lang and mother, Vicky; seven siblings: Rhonda Detwiler, Bradley McConnell, Capi Mann, Tracy Taylor, Jason Tyler, Kenneth Pace and Raymond Pace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chrissy was preceded in death by her father, Ken Pace; her grandparents: Raymond and Margaret Glass and Oscar and Betty Lang; and her best friends: Gary Hoover and Tiffany Riley.
Chrissy was a 1992 graduate of Altoona Area High School, and she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degreen from Penn State University. She was a U.S. Navy veteran.
She was currently employed as a server/coordinator/waiver for the State of Pennsylvania, where she had worked for two years. Previously, she had been employed as a case manager for Blair County Headstart for five years.
Chrissy was a member of Cesare Battisti Club, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, riding her motorcycle, vacationing at the beach and going to casinos. She also loved shopping.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating.
