Deanna Kay (Roush) McIlnay

Deanna Kay McIlnay, 71, Martinsburg, formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away early Monday morning.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Hillis and Rebecca (Dick) Roush.

Surviving are three daughters: Kimberly (Michael) Long and Rebecca Tyler (Daniel) Snyder, both of Martins­burg, and Patricia (Brett) Quarello of Duncansville; three grandchildren: Alan Kaplan, Garrett Long and Deagan Quarello; a sister, Patricia Mauk of Martins­burg; her stepmother, Barbara Roush; a half-brother, Bryan Roush; two stepsisters: Bonnie Prior and Barbara Miller; and a stepbrother, Brad Sell.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Snyder.

For many years, Deanna was employed at Joyce’s Fashion Corner, Roaring Spring.

Her final request was to be donated to Humanities Gift Registry.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Healing Waters Church of God, Woodbury, the Rev. George Mauk officiating. After the service until 4 p.m., family and friends are invited for a time of remembrance and sharing at the church. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Deanna may be given to one’s favorite local charity.
