Madeline Sorbera, 81, Hollidaysburg, died Friday at her residence.
She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve (Mitchell) Sorbera.
Surviving are numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cornelia “Mona” Rubbe; and her brother, Philip Sorbera.
Madeline was employed at General Cigar Factory, Philipsburg, for 20 years and also had worked at the Puritan Sportswear factory, Altoona, for seven years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Madeline was a woman full of life and a kindhearted soul, always a caring person and listening ear to anyone in need. Her laughter was unforgettable. She will be terribly missed.
Friends will be received from 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass of Christian burial Monday, July 3, 2017, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, Monsignor Henry Krebs, celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
