Katrina V. Waddington

April 16, 1934 - April 22, 2017

Katrina V. Waddington, 83, a resident of Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away late Saturday at the home.

She was born in Stephens City, Va., daughter of the late Frank and Genevieve (Lafollette) Bennett.

Surviving are two sons: J. Clayton (Glenda) Wendling of Irwin and Ward (Catherine) Waddington of rural Williamsburg; a daughter, Katrina (Robert) Pennell of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death a son, Bob Dan Wendling; and a brother, Floyd Bennett.

Katrina owned and operated Waddington Tours, Williamsburg, and she also drove buses for Williamsburg School District.

She was a member of the former Yellow Springs Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg, and more recently she attended Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. For many years, she served as a 4H leader in the Williamsburg Chapter and she also loved painting, sewing and writing books and short stories.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

The family prefers memorial that contributions be given to Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg Benevolence Fund, 220 Newry St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
