Ginger C. Dilling

Ginger C. Dilling, 66, Martinsburg, died Sunday morning at UPMC Montifiore, Pittsburgh, after an extended illness.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Doris (Brown) and the late James Dibert. On Dec. 2, 1967, she married Dennis P. Dilling in Roaring Spring.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Amy Barnes and husband, Michael; three grandchildren: Jaden, Olivia and Alex Barnes, all of Roaring Spring; a great-granddaughter, Audrina Barnes of Roaring Spring; her mother, Doris, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove; and six siblings: Wanda Leonard of Duncansville, Jim Dibert of Roaring Spring, Jan Dibert of Duncansville, Bev Dibert of Claysburg, Mike Dibert of East Freedom and Penny Dibert of Saxton.

She was preceded in death by two infant children: Victoria and Glenn Paul.

Ginger was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. She had been employed at Leidy’s Furniture, Martinsburg, for more than 30 years. She attended Faith Assembly, Roaring Spring, and she was a member of Blair County Ostomy Association. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Faith Assembly, Roaring Spring, Pastor Steve Brumbaugh officiating. Inurnment will be made in Riverview Cemetery.
