Mary June Brumbaugh, 82, Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Saxton, passed away Thursday at Homewood.

She was born in Robertsdale, daughter of the late Margaret (Swope) and Morton Neville Sr. On Jan. 6, 1951, she married Paul D. Brumbaugh in Cumberland, Md. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2004, after 53 years of marriage.

Surviving are three sons: Jerry D. and wife, Lana Brumbaugh of Saxton, Robert R. and wife, Kelly Brumbaugh of Johnstown and Pastor Alan E. and wife, Sally Brumbaugh of Akron, Ohio; two sisters: Helen Figard of Bedford and Nellie and husband, John Arcq of Robertsdale; seven grandchildren: Paul, Carey, Susan, Wendi, Jamie, Aaron and Rebecca; and 10 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Zachary, Skyler, Mykell, Brayden, Jayvein, Whitney, Kelsey, Alex and Levi.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Craig Brumbaugh; two granddaughters: Tracy and Christina Brumbaugh; and six siblings: Madeline Brown, Margaret Gracey, Delilah Neville, Elwood, Nelson and Morton Neville Jr.

She was employed as a cafeteria manager at Tussey Mountain School District for 30 years. She was a member of Raven Run Church of the Brethren, where she served her Lord in many ways, including as deaconess, Sunday school teacher, youth leader and chorister.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. They will remember all the wonderful times they had gathered together at her home. She loved to read, especially her Bible. She liked working in her beautiful flower gardens, singing, traveling, plays and just being with people.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Raven Run Church of the Brethren, Saxton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, Pastors Dan Hammel and Alan E. Brumbaugh officiating. Interment will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Saxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Raven Run Church of the Brethren, 616 Raven Run Road, Saxton, PA 16678.
