Donald C. Taylor

Donald C. Taylor, 83, Altoona, formerly of Kennett Square, passed away on April 17, 2016, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg.

He was born in Unionville, son of the late Elisha B. and Elizabeth Fredd Taylor. He married Ann Wilson Taylor and they shared 52 years of marriage until her death in 2006.

Surviving are a son, Thomas Taylor of Crouse, N.C.; a daughter, Diane Robinson and husband, Dr. Jay Robinson, of Altoona; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Donald W. Taylor; three brothers: Thomas, John Henry and Francis Taylor; and three sisters: Jeanette, Mary Elizabeth and Julia Taylor.

Donald was a lab technician at the NVF Co., Kennett Square, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of Hamorton United Methodist Church, Mendenhall, where he loved to sing in the choir. He was an avid Phillies fan and loved to watch them on TV, and he was also a big Penn State football fan.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, Kennett Square. Interment will be at Cochranville Methodist Church Cemetery, Cochranville.
