Bernice K. Fink
Bernice K. Fink, 83, Duncansville, died Tuesday at her residence.
She was born in Mount Zion, Lebanon County, daughter of the late Sterling and Ada (Shirk) Kneasel. She married Joseph R. Fink on Aug. 13, 1955, in Lebanon, Pa.
Surviving are her husband, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; two sons: Barry J. and wife, Bernice, of Pittsburgh and Robert S. and wife, Barbara, in Utah; four grandchildren: Reina, Christian, Liana and Natalie; three brothers: Lee, Jay and Roy, all of Lebanon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bernice was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1952 graduate of Millersville State Teachers College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught third grade in Lebanon County and Logan Township. She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, where she was a member of the Women’s Guild.
Bernice enjoyed her family, traveling, cooking, gardening and camping.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. David P. Haydu. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John’s Reformed Church, 904 Maple Ave., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
