Leroy M. ‘Jr.’ Knisley

Leroy M. “Jr.” Knisley, 42, Clarksburg, W.Va., formerly of Indiana County, died Wednesday in Jefferson Township, Greene County.

He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Leroy E. and Geraldine E. (Brown) Knisley. He married Fannie E. Patterson-Knisley on June 23, 2012.

Surviving are his wife of Clymer; a daughter, Kayla Weed and fiance, Robert Truszka, of Somerset; a son, Ricky of Cherry Tree; two grandchildren: Brody William Knisley and Robert Edwin Truszka; nine siblings: Georgia Aungst and husband, Ron, of Hollidaysburg, Jennifer Dibert and husband, Bob, of East Freedom, Effieann Cotter and husband, Don, of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., Candy Heller of Altoona, Ken Walter and wife, Dawn, of East Freedom, Sandy Higgins and husband, Jim, of Hopewell, Sherry Lewis and husband, Butch, of Bald Eagle, Paula Brewer and husband, Bob, of Commodore and Cindy Sink and husband, Jeff, of Clymer; a number of nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Joann Davisson of Clarksburg, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Walter.

Leroy was employed as a water truck driver with Energy Construction Management LLC of Williamsport and had previously worked for D&M Contracting/Castelli of New Alexandria. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycle riding.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Rairigh Funeral Home, 18944 Route 286 Hwy E., Hillsdale, Indiana County, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Interment will be at McDowell Cemetery, Grismore Road, Clymer.
