Thomas Frank Webster

Thomas Frank Webster, 90, Marion, Ohio, died Tuesday at Marion General Hospital.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Joshua and Amy (Lindley) Webster.

In 1967, he married Willa Mae Hanshaw, and she preceded him in death in 2005.

Surviving are three stepsons: Ernie (Jan) Hanshaw, Gerald (Karen) Hanshaw and Keith (Nancy) Hanshaw; six grandchildren: Jeanna Hanshaw, Todd (Kim) Hanshaw, Brent (Heather) Hanshaw, Michael Hanshaw, Sue Webster and Stephanie Webster; a niece, Jill (Rupp) Peacock; and a nephew, Jack Rupp.

He was blessed with many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Webster was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Rupp; a brother, Jack; a son, Ronnie; and a stepson, Larry Hanshaw.

Tom served in WWII as a military policeman and retired from Armco Steel. He then drove the Care-A-Van for Marion Towers.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at Boyd-Born Funeral Home, Marion, Ohio, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, the Rev. Rick Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
