Marjorie E. Burket

Marjorie E. Burket, 74, rural Williamsburg, passed away early Wednesday morning at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.
She was born in Martinsburg, daughter of the late Rev. O. Clyde and M. Della (Frederick) Bush. She married Leonard R. Burket on June 29, 1958, at Curryville Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 55 years; two daughters: Bonita G. Pielmeier and husband, Joe, of Altoona and Brenda S. Claar and husband, Clair, of rural Williamsburg; a son, Brian L. and wife of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Brian II, Bradley, and Amanda Dively and husband, Josh; a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Dively; and three sisters: Carolyn D. Giselman of rural Roaring Spring, Lois E. Focht of Martinsburg and Nancy K. Mellott of Woodbury.
Marjorie was a 1957 graduate of Morrison Cove High School, Martinsburg. She was presently employed as a school bus driver for Leidy Bus Co. and previously for Dennis L. Smith Busing, driving students in the Spring Cove School District for the past 25 years. Also, along with her husband, she assisted in the daily operation of the family dairy farm near Clappertown, rural Williamsburg. She attended Martinsburg Church of God.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, at John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at Martinsburg Church of God, Dr. Lew I. Button officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be given to Martinsburg Church of God Memorial Fund.
