Jane A. Keen

Jane A. Keen, 91, Duncansville, died Friday.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Wesley and Minnie (Corless) Burns. She married Andrew W. Keen on Oct. 2, 1943, at Eighth Avenue United Methodist Church, Altoona, and he died Feb. 3, 2000.

Surviving are a son, William and wife, Barbara, of McLean, Va.; three grandsons: Matthew of McLean, Dr. Christopher and wife, Dr. Jordan, of Hernando, Fla., and Jeffrey and wife, Alison, of Herndon, Va.; and five great-grandchildren: Aubrey and Landon of Herndon and Bryson, Tucker and Addison of Hernando.

Jane was a 1941 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a member of Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Altoona Chapter, and a member of the White Shrine Altoona Women’s Club and Park Hills Country Club. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, the Rev. Rich Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
