Dustin S. Weyandt

Dustin S. Weyandt, 23, Duncansville, died Monday as the result of a swimming accident.

He was born in Fort Benning, Ga., son of Roger L. Jr. and Margaret (Palko) Weyandt.

Surviving are his parents; his fiancee, Alix Evans; a sister, Hannah of Williamsburg; a brother, Dylan of Altoona; his grandparents: Roger Sr. and Amanda Weyandt of East Freedom and Judy Swain of Wytheville, Va.; and his great-grandmother, Bertha Campbell.

Dustin was a 2009 graduate of Central High School. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and served his country in Afghanistan, and he also worked at Asurion Call Center. He enjoyed playing pool.

A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. today, June 20, 2014, at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury, by Pastor Joseph Weber.

Arrangements are by S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury, by Pastor Joseph Weber.
