David L. Stahl

David L. Stahl, 43, Juniata, died May 22, 2014, in Williams, Ariz., after a heart attack.

He was born in Tyrone, son of Betty Kay Stahl. He married Carol A. Butterbaugh on June 17, 1999, in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife; two sons: Curtis W. and Zachary T., both at home; his mother-in-law, Irma Butterbaugh of Altoona; his mother; two sisters: Kelly Black and Becky Emery; eight brothers-in- law; four sisters-in-law; eight nieces; and eight nephews.

Dave was a professional long-haul truck driver for Gravytrain Express /Mason Dixon for more than 21 years. Previously, he had been employed at Synergistiks, Altoona, and Class One Transport, McVeytown, for many years.

Dave loved being with family and friends, giving gifts, the Pittsburgh Steelers, gambling, comedies and making everyone laugh, and he loved his dog, Bo. He collected Steelers memorabilia, Hot Wheels cars and Budweiser steins. He had a very unique laugh that was contagious and will be remembered by everyone who ever heard it.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata.
