Nancy L. Craig
Mrs. Nancy L. Craig, 54, Altoona, died Friday morning at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lowell H. and Agnes (Graca) Norris. She married Robert F. Craig on Aug. 16, 2003, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona.
Surviving are her husband; two children: a daughter, Colbe Norris, and a son, Alan Norris Crissman, both of Altoona; two stepdaughters: Autumn of Altoona and Brittney of Houston, Texas; a sister, Debra (Dave) Francis of Altoona; a niece and a nephew: Lindsay (Joe) Zerbee and David Francis II, both of Altoona; a granddaughter, Vionna Rose; her stepfather, Ricsunhard Garland of Altoona; and brothers and sisters- in-law: Don and Cathy O’Brian, Tom and Deb Craig, Pat and Donna Eckenrode and Bill and Cheryl Craig.
Nancy was a 1977 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She retired in 2009 as a teacher’s aide from the Altoona Area School District with 15 years of service. She had previously worked at Home Nursing Agency and Altoona Hospital.
Nancy was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her granddaughter, Vionna Rose, family and friends. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Fort Apache VFW Post 8685 and Team Mothers for Altoona Little League.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Jones Funeral Home, where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held during the visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona, with Monsignor Michael Servinsky officiating. Committal Rites will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 East Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602.
