Viola E. ‘Iva’ Musselman

Viola E. “Iva” Musselman, 93, of Klahr passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Everett, daughter of the late Clarence and Louie (Ramsey) Colledge. She married Elvin G. “Jim” Musselman on Aug. 29, 1947, in Winchester, Va. He passed away on Dec. 14, 1984.

She is survived by a son, Gerald Musselman and wife, Vesta (Geller) of Bedford; two granddaughters: Cena Reisling of Bedford and Crystal Christopher of Everett; three great-granddaughters: Abby and Colleen Christopher and Morgan Reisling; a great-grandson, Mason Reisling; and three sisters: Pauline Colledge of Everett, Louise Hott of Bedford and Mary Foor of Breezewood.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Verna Lee.

Iva attended the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren.

She was a 1937 graduate of Everett High School, was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and collecting frogs.

She was a member of the Golden Agers of Claysburg and the Central PA Ostomy Society.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Ronald Hott officiating. Interment will be at Upper Claar Cemetery.
