Josephine Agnes Reynolds, 94, Fort Gratiot, Mich., died Aug. 1, 2013, in Blue Water Hospice Home.

She was born in Rosebud, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Wisk) Dickty. She was married to her loving husband, the late Richard William Reynolds, for 55 years. Jo and Dick lived their early lives in Pennsylvania and still have loving family and friends here.

Surviving are two daughters: Mary Jo (Dr. Jack) Heck and Joyce A. Reynolds (the late Kelly Beatty); two grandchildren: Jennifer (Mark) Greiner and Michael (Melissa) Heck; and four great-grandchildren: Jeffrey and Nicholas Greiner and Joseph and Julianne Heck.

Jo was a great cook and put this talent to use in her employment. She was employed by Triplett Food Services for many years in the Detroit area as the manager for several corporate dining rooms, including General Motors, Detroit Bank and Trust, Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., The Whittier Hotel and Duns Scotus College. She passed her love of cooking on to her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to travel and play cards. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Larger than life in her beauty, energy and graciousness, Jo will be missed terribly by all who knew her.
