Timothy P. Brobeck

Timothy P. Brobeck, 49, Port Matilda, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of Theodore E. II and Sonja R. (Nelson) Brobeck.

Surviving are his parents; his fiancee, Patty Harris of Tipton; a daughter, Megan M. Brobeck of Bellwood; two brothers: Theodore E. III of Julian and Michael T. of Port Matilda; a sister, Josie Lathrop of Umatilla, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was a 1982 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and had taken courses at North Carolina State University. He was a co-owner of Precision Dimension Inc. of Tyrone with his brother, Michael. He attended St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church of Tyrone.

Tim was a member of the Tyrone Elks Club. He enjoyed boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, ATV riding and hunting and was a huge animal lover. He was also licensed as a U.S. Merchant Marine officer.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 5:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, by the Rev. Valentine Bradley. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
