Anthony G. ‘Tony’ DeBartolome

Anthony G. “Tony” DeBartolome, 49, Altoona, died unexpectedly Friday in Altoona of natural causes.

He was born in Altoona, son of Ann (Beigle) DeBartolome and the late Robert F. DeBartolome.

Surviving are his mother; a sister, Debora DeBartolome Murtagh; and three brothers: Mike, Robert J. and John.

He was preceded in death by his father on Aug. 14, 2010.

Tony was a 1982 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was employed in environmental services at UPMC Altoona. He was a member of Never Forgotten Camp, located in Sproul State Forest, since 1999, as well as Sinnemahoning Sportsmen Association and Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Association.

Tony enjoyed his family and friends and his coworkers at UPMC Altoona, hunting with all his camp buddies and his hunting trip out West to Wyoming with his brother, John, and uncle, Fred Fagans. He also enjoyed building computers.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
