Yvonne Cuomo, 77, Dysart, died Tuesday at home.
She was born in Fallentimber RD, daughter of the late Eugene Sr. and Katherine (Matish) Ratchford.
Surviving are a daughter: Cathy Tetu (Brad) of Port Orange, Fla.; a granddaughter, Jessica Falletta and husband, Marco, and their quadruplet daughters, Gianna, Isabella, Natalia and Alexis; six siblings: Alice Hale and Patrick (Barbara Lumadue), both of Altoona, Elizabeth “Betty” Crossman and Harold, both of Dysart, Gerald “Jake” (Linda Stewart) of Cresaptown, Md., and Michael (Shirley Steele) of Meadville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, on March 17, 2004; and two brothers: Eugene Jr. “Bucky” and Fred.
Along with her husband, Yvonne owned and operated the Cuomo Tavern in Dysart for 17 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville. She enjoyed playing the Pennsylvania State Lottery and traveling.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, the Rev. Sean Code as celebrant. Committal will be in the church cemetery.
