Rosie Frederick, 90, Middle Ridge Road, New Enterprise, died Friday at her home. She was born in Queen, daughter of Samuel and Della (Dively) Musselman. She married Floyd F. Frederick Sr., who died Feb. 9, 2001.
Surviving are five daughters: Judy Bowers and husband, Jeff, of Roaring Spring, Betty Ake and husband, Jim, of New Enterprise, Carol Jean of New Enterprise, Dorothy of Roaring Spring and Linda Johnson of New Enterprise; a son, Floyd Frederick Jr. and wife, Linda, of New Enterprise; four brothers: Melvin Musselman and George Musselman of Woodbury, Arthur Musselman of Clearville and Ray Musselman of Martinsburg; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Ada Shaw, Laura Mae Boyer and Adaline Ebersole; and a brother, Homer Diehl.
Rosie was a member of the Waterside Church of the Brethren and was involved in women’s fellowship. Her interests were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sewing, gardening, gospel music and reading her Bible.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Waterside Church of the Brethren, Pastor Michael Benner, officiating. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery, rural Woodbury.
