Connie Naylor, 58, Dysart, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born in Dysart, daughter of the late William “Duke” and Margaret (Vochinsky) Naylor.
Surviving are two sons: Jody Gibbons (Angel Farabaugh) of Emeigh and Jed Gibbons (Erica Sunderland) of Northern Cambria; four grandchildren: Brennan and Bryce Gibbons and David and Chelsea Farabaugh; a sister, Cathy Vinglish (Brian) of Dysart; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alan.
Connie retired after 29 years of service from Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg, and was currently working at the Women’s Help Center, Johnstown. She organized the National Day of Prayer at the Cambria County Courthouse and was a member of the Crossroads Alliance Church, Ebensburg.
Connie was a devout Christian. She enjoyed hunting with her sons and shopping.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral service Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, the Rev. Kevin Stock officiating. Committal will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.
