Sentencings

The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.

Chelsea Oakes, 222 E. Fourth Ave., Altoona, had all charges of writing bad checks filed by Blair County District Attorney’s Office on Jan. 5, 2014, dismissed March 5, 2018.

Angela M. Miles, 23, 100 Meade St., Tyrone, had all charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Tyrone police on June 2, 2017, dismissed on March 2, 2018.

The following defendants pleaded guilty to charges listed and were sentenced as shown:

Steven J. Rosepink, 20, 3919 Burgoon Road, Altoona, sentenced March 2, 2018, to $200 fine and two years’ probation for theft by unlawful taking, filed by Bellwood police Oct. 2, 2016.

Tricia M. Weatherwalk, 33, 2315 Fifth Ave., Altoona, sentenced March 5, 2017, to 30 days to 23 months in jail and five years’ probation for possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communication facility, filed by Altoona police June 21, 2016; and five years’ probation for criminal use of a communication facility, filed by Altoona police June 20, 2016.

Christopher M. Fuedale, 38, 17 Laughlin Circle, Altoona, sentenced March 12, 2018, to $200 fine and 18 months’ probation for retail theft, filed by Logan Township police Oct. 30, 2016.

James A. Ritz Jr., 57, 203 Greenwood Road, Altoona, sentenced March 16, 2018, to $200 fine and 12 months’ probation for disorderly conduct, filed by Altoona police Dec. 17, 2016.

Heather M. Vanklaveren, 38, 1661 Holly Ridge Drive, Altoona, sentenced March 22, 2018, to 12 to 24 months in jail, $450 in fines and 10 years’ probation for corrupt organizations, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity, global count of criminal conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police Dec. 18, 2015; 12 to 24 months in jail and a $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police Dec. 17, 2015; 12 to 24 months in jail and a $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police Dec. 1, 2015; 12 to 24 months in jail and a $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police Dec. 11, 2015; 12 to 24 months in jail and a $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police Dec. 18, 2015; and six to 12 months in jail and a $50 fine for global acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, filed by UPMC Altoona police July 6, 2014.

Julius A. Colabove II, 38, 2718 Oak Ave., second floor, Altoona, sentenced March 26, 2018, to $225 fine and five years’ probation for retail theft, filed by Logan Township police Dec. 21, 2016.

Farren M. Herr, 32, 510 Pottsgrove Road, Altoona, sentenced March 23, 2018, to $100 fine and two years’ probation for recklessly endangering another person, filed by Office of Attorney General on Oct. 26, 2016.

Earl C. Manker, 50, 1117 11thSt., Apt. 2, Altoona, sentenced March 23, 2018, to $100 fine for disorderly conduct, filed by Altoona police May 24, 2016.

Michael S. Clark, 34, 140 Fleetwood Court, East Freedom, sentenced Nov. 28, 2017, to $50 fine and five years’ probation for theft by unlawful taking and criminal attempt, filed by Freedom Township police Aug. 15, 2016.

Tony C. Mishock, 37, 210 N. 10th Ave., Altoona, sentenced Aug. 7, 2017 to $200 fine and two years’ probation for retail theft, filed by Logan Township police Jan. 19, 2017.

Andrew T. Shriner, 51, 120 S. Mattas Drive, Duncansville, sentenced Dec. 21, 2017, to $100 fine and one year of probation for resisting arrest, and 72 hours to six months in jail and $1,000 fine for DUI, filed by Blair Township police Feb. 3, 2017.

Nicole L. Eger, 25, 2603 Union Ave., Altoona, sentenced Dec. 8, 2017, to $200 fine and six months’ probation for retail theft and criminal mischief, filed by Altoona police Dec. 26, 2016.

Joshua T. Beach, 38, 212 Texas Corner Road, New Enterprise, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $200 fine and four years’ probation for two counts of simple assault, filed by Altoona police April 11, 2017.

Shane T. Cunningham, 42, 721 Main St., B, Saxton, sentenced Dec. 1, 2017, to pay $200 fine and one year of probation for retail theft, filed by Blair County District Attorney’s Office on March 9, 2017.

Charles E. Renney, 46, 223 Grazierville Road, Tyrone, sentenced Dec. 15, 2017, to $100 fine and one year of probation for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, filed by Hollidaysburg state police April 11, 2017; and to $100 fine and one year of probation for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, filed by Logan Township police Aug. 1, 2017.

Devin W. Wyerman, 27, 616 Sugar St., Roaring Spring, sentenced Dec. 19, 2017, to 2.5 years less one day to five years less two days in jail, $2,000 fine and 15 years’ probation for criminal attempt, aggravated assault, risking a catastrophe and recklessly endangering another person, filed by Hollidaysburg state police March 1, 2016.

Cruz C. Jozefik, 25, 502 N. 12th St., Philipsburg, sentenced Dec. 13, 2017, to $50 fine for retail theft, filed by Blair Township police April 5, 2016.
