Jason D. Mapes, 37, Altoona, was arrested early Sunday on Veterans Memorial Highway and Red Oak Leaf Lane and charged with DUI.

A 2-foot white angel holding an ornament, a blue decorative flag that reads “Forever in our hearts” with solar lights attached and a small white angel sitting down with other small items were taken from a grave at Grandview Cemetery.

Joshua Turiano, 27, 311 N. Fifth Ave., was arrested June 17 at Chestnut Avenue and Juniata Gap Road and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Jason Burtnette, 30, Altoona, was arrested June 16 at Greenwood Road and Old Sixth Avenue Road and charged with DUI.

Stephanie Gottshall, 58, Altoona, was arrested June 14 on the 1800 block of Wopsononock Road and charged with public drunkenness.

Michael Baker, 60, Altoona, was arrested June 9 at 17th Street and McMahon Road and charged with DUI.

Willie Hardison Jr., 67, Lancaster, was arrested May 31 at Gabe’s, 516 W. Plank Road, and charged with retail theft.

Michael Bryant, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct for an alleged incident May 20 on the 300 block of Cayuga Avenue.

Jeffrey A. Shoup, 39, Altoona, was arrested April 19 at Boscov’s in Logan Town Centre and charged with retail theft.
