Bedford state police
An SUV driven by Matthew G. Bowman, 34, Meyersdale, struck a utility pole Friday morning on Route 30, Juniata Township. Bowman fled the scene and was involved in a crash in Somerset County shortly after fleeing from this accident. He was charged with multiple traffic violations including hit and run.
Hollidaysburg state police
David J. Feathers, 23, Roaring Spring, was taken to UPMC Altoona after his mail carrier was struck in the rear by a pickup truck driven by Joshua R. Holsinger, 39, Martinsburg, Saturday afternoon on Frederick Road, Taylor Township. Holsinger was cited for careless driving.
