Bedford state police

A Maryland man is facing public drunkenness charges after opening and eating food at a Sheetz without paying for it. Zachary Alan Baker, 28, Nottingham, was at a Sheetz in Bedford Township about 1 a.m. Saturday when he opened food and began eating it in the store. According to police, Baker “became belligerent and rude to Sheetz employees” when they asked him to pay for the food he was eating.

Rockview state police

An inmate at Rockview State Correctional Institution at Rockview is facing charges after allegedly making a weapon. The 30-year-old inmate, whose name has not yet been released, was found in possession of a homemade weapon – a razor blade melted into the end of a toothbrush – about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Logan Township police

— Jacob R. Dashaies, 20, of Lincoln University was arrested early Sunday and charged with public drunkenness at 111 Campus View Drive.

— A woman who purchased a pocketbook from the Boscov’s store in Logan Town Centre found a large quantity of jewelry inside of it. The jewelry appeared to be of a great value, police said. Anyone who lost jewelry at the store should contact police.

Hollidaysburg state police

— Two juveniles were charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief for an alleged incident Feb. 2 along Hagen Street in Snyder Township. Police said two juveniles waited for a woman to leave her home before breaking in through a basement window. Items stolen included a .22-caliber handgun and a Daisy revolver BB gun, police said.

Huntingdon state police

— Fifty bales of hay were stolen in Walker Township some time between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 627-3161.

Logan Township police

— Brookelynn Patterson, 21, of 1023 Fifth Ave, was arrested Thursday night and charged with public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia at Kettle Road and Coral Drive. Police said several arrest warrants existed for Patterson, and a syringe was found in her purse.

— Two women and a man, all of Altoona, face drug charges after police said they were part of a marijuana sale Friday night at Lookout Avenue and Crestview Boulevard. Justin Auker, 20, and Delaney Rosenberry, 18, face charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, and Cierrah Matthew, 19, faces a charge of delivery of a controlled substance and related possession charges.

— Jennifer Chang, 38, of 209 E. Fourth Ave., faces multiple charges after police said she was found with cocaine during a traffic stop Saturday night on the 600 block of East Chestnut Avenue. She was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and possession of cocaine. Chang will be charged with driving with a suspended license, unlawful transfer of a registration, operating a vehicle without insurance and other traffic violations, police said.

— William A. Olson Jr., 45, of 108 E. Willow Ave., was arrested for DUI early Sunday on Mill Run Road.

— Theodorus Kokkoris, 18 of Lynnbook, N.Y., was arrested early Sunday and cited for a disorderly gathering at 111 Campus View Drive.

  • Brad A. Latocha, no age listed, 1023 Sixth Ave., was arrested late Thursday on the 400 block of First Avenue and charged with DUI and several traffic violations.
  • Ronald F. Harrel, no age listed, 1001 E. Walton Ave., was arrested early Thursday at Kettle Street and Walton Avenue and charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Darren L. Galbraith, 36, 916 23rd Ave., was arrested late Friday night along the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
  • Janelle C. DeGennaro, 35, 904 21st Ave., was arrested early Saturday morning at North Second Street and North Sixth Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
  • Richard A. Stein, 39, 118 Court Lane, was arrested early Saturday morning along the 2400 block of Seventh Avenue and charged with public drunkenness.
  • Westley Scott Lostaglia, 18, 720 N. Fifth Ave., was arrested at home Saturday evening and charged with simple assault and stalking in a domestic violence case.
  • Brian A. Miller, no age listed, 2108 Eighth Ave. Second Floor, was arrested at home Sunday afternoon and charged with retail theft.

  • Richard Bruce Marshall, 80, Carlisle, was cited for harassment after an alleged incident March 9 on Kurtz Road in Tyrone Township.
  • Ryan I. Mellot, 39, Williamsburg, is charged with criminal mischief after an alleged incident March 2.
  • John A. Updike, 40, Tyrone, was arrested Feb. 18 at Main and Cambria streets in Bellwood and charged with DUI.
  • Ramon Saldana, 39, 2927 Broad Ave., was arrested Feb. 15 on Route 36 in Freedom Township and charged with DUI.

Tyrone police

  • David Miller, 29, Tyrone, was arrested March 13 on the 400 block of West 15th Street on a Blair County sheriff’s warrant and is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Two juveniles, ages 14 and 16, were cited for allegedly violating the borough’s curfew ordinance at 1:10 a.m. on March 13 at Lanners Street and Alley F.
  • Curtis Knarr, 29, Tyrone, was arrested March 12 on the 400 block Park Avenue and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
  • Darin Lee Shultz, 31 Reynoldsville, was charged with criminal trespass after an alleged incident March 10 at Sylvan Acres Apartment Complex.
  • A 17-year-old boy is charged with transmission of sexually explicit images by a minor after he allegedly sent a 20-year-old woman sexually explicit images on March 8.

  • Robert A. Horton, 25, Saxton, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for an alleged incident March 19 on the 400 block of 16th Street in Liberty Township.
  • Michael Elroy Kiser, 37 Alum Bank, was arrested Jan. 19 at Ridge Market, 5362 Cortland Road, and charged with failing to comply with Megan’s Law.
  • Brittany S. Lindeman, 22, Hyndman, was cited for harassment after an alleged incident March 10 on the 200 block of Second Avenue in Hyndman.
  • Marc D. Speal, 23, Jeannette, was arrested March 8 on East Penn Street in Bedford Township and charged with DUI.
  • Angie M. Bowser, 37, New Paris, was arrested March 2 on Route 56 in East St. Clair Township and charged with DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Michael P. Earley, 29, Huntingdon, was arrested March 19 on the 9000 block of Hartslog Court Circle in Porter Township and charged with escape and resisting arrest.
  • James D. Barnett, no age or address listed, was arrested Feb. 22 on Route 22 in Porter Township and charged with DUI.
  • Justin D. Conner, no age listed, of Mill Creek, was arrested Feb. 23 on Water Street in Mapleton Depot Borough and charged with DUI.

– Joshua Richard Taft, 24, East Laoka Ave, Savona, N.Y., was arrested at Cove Forge Williamsburg for a violation of a protection-from-abuse order between March 8-18. He was arraigned and is incarcerated at the Blair County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail.

– Skyler James Rodland, 21, Tyrone, was charged with attempting to elude a police officer on Back Vail Road, South Eagle Valley Road and private properties of Snyder Township while driving an all-terrain vehicle March 3 without a license.

Logan Township police

– Emily Fassino, 18, and Carlos Bautista, 18, were cited Saturday for underage drinking at Nittany Pointe, Campus View Drive.

– Calina Etchison, 34, 227 Willow Ave., was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct Sunday at Denny’s restaurant.

Bedford state police

– Nicole Lynn Smith, 25, Manns Choice, was arrested March 16 at 369 Old Route 30 in Napier Township and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

– Antonio F. Camenite, 36, 1508 Pleasant Valley Blvd., was arrested Friday at his home and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, endangering child welfare and harassment.

– Miranda S. Dunn, 18, 311 N. Ninth Ave., was arrested Saturday on the 1400 block of Broadway and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

– Clyde Russell Bott Jr., 22, 1112 Sixth Ave., was arrested Saturday at Ivyside Drive and East 25th Avenue and charged with escape, fleeing apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Bott, a passenger in a car, fled on foot when police pulled the car over.

Bedford state police

– Dale Francis Hoover, 56, of New Paris was charged with theft of services Thursday after he allegedly stole electricity from a Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative meter.

– An unknown person took medication from a 64-year-old Liberty Township woman’s home Tuesday or Wednesday.

Clearfield state police

– An unknown person obtained a Madera woman’s personal information and used it to get a credit card, spending $3,600 in February and March.

– A 1989 Chevy 1500 pickup owned by an Everett man was stolen from a parking lot on the 1100 block of Clear Ridge Road in West Providence Township overnight Friday.

– Tobias Christofic, 21, Bedford, was charged with furnishing alcohol to a 15-year-old from Bedford on Main Road in Rainsburg March 10.

Ebensburg state police

– Ryan R. Lauer, 22, Pittsburgh, was charged with stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and loitering for going to Nanty Glo early March 11 to speak with a 21-year-old woman, after having been arrested for an incident at the woman’s home three days earlier. Lauer turned himself in after police obtained a warrant for his arrest. He was arraigned, then jailed in lieu of 10 percent of $300,000 bail, set by Magisterial District Judge Kevin Price.

– Rebecca L. VanScoyoc, 1214 11th Ave., was charged Saturday morning with DUI on the 1700 block of 12th Avenue.

– Michael Lee Phillips, 27, of 600 Second Ave., was arrested Friday evening on an Altoona Police Department warrant.

– Eric Vaughn Alley of 1910 Fifth Ave. was charged Saturday evening with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Fifth Avenue Alley and 20th Street.

– William Park Imler, 48, Fishertown, was charged early Sunday with driving under the influence on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue.

– Adam Good of 710 21st St. was charged with driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia Sunday afternoon on the 700 block of Eighth Street.

Hollidaysburg State Police

– A vehicle parked on the 500 block of Juniata Valley Road was damaged by BB pellets sometime between Feb. 17 and

Feb. 22.

– Residents of a Woodbury Township home near Williamsburg left their Fairview Drive residence between 6 p.m. and

8 p.m. Saturday, and when they returned, discovered their garage had been burglarized. The burglar took firearms, a pellet rifle and mechanical tools. The value of the loss is estimated between $10,000 and $15,000.

Rockview State Police

– Frank Stimer, 42, of Sandy Ridge was charged with harassment as the result of an incident Feb. 20 on Jacksonville Road, Marion Township, Centre County. He is alleged to have grabbed a 46-year-old female and slapped her three times in the face.

Huntingdon State Police

– Someone knocked on the bedroom window of a home on Old Route 22, Porter Township, Huntingdon County, at 2 a.m., Feb. 13. The person then fled. Police are investigating the incident as one of loitering and prowling at night.

Philipsburg State Police

– A 16-year-old student at Phillipsburg-Osceola Area High School will be charged with theft and criminal mischief for taking the cellphone of a 14-year-old boy from the male locker room at the school. He destroyed it to avoid being discovered with the stolen phone.
