Hollidaysburg man faces child sex abuse charges

Koll allegedly molested boy over several years

A Hollidaysburg man faces charges he sexually abused a boy.

According to charges filed by Blair Township police, 20-year-old Brandyn C. Koll allegedly molested the boy, now 13, over the course of several years and threatened to punch him if he told anyone.

The allegations came to light in late May when the boy’s mother found pornographic photos on the boy’s phone — a total of 44 images that police said were sent by Koll along with sexually explicit messages.

In those messages were also references to sexual acts between the boy and Koll, police noted in the charges that were filed before Magisterial District Judge Paula Aigner in August.

Koll, who was arrested and jailed the night of Sept. 13, allegedly fondled and touched the boy sexually on multiple occasions and performed oral sex on the boy after he turned 13.

Police said messages sent by Koll to the boy referenced the past encounters and were graphic in their details. Koll also sent messages detailing what he wanted to do to the boy sexually, police added.

The boy’s mother told police her son told her the abuse had gone on for about three years, according to the charges.

Koll faces a total of 49 felonies, including 44 counts of disseminating obscene materials to a minor along with counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and unlawful contact with a minor. He also is charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor indecent assault. Koll remains in Blair County Prison in lieu of $200,000 cash bail.
