New hires and promotions

— Dr. Michelle Stoudt, a Board Certified Cardiologist and Fellow in the American College of Cardiology, has joined the Tyrone Regional Health Network medical staff.

Stoudt, who is a provider with Cardiology Associates of Altoona, now has office hours at Tyrone Hospital’s cardiology office and also provides inpatient cardiology consultations at Tyrone Hospital.

— Zeke Feyock, a certified registered nurse practitioner, has a new role at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s Depart­ment of Emergency Medicine.

Feyock has been a member of Conemaugh Memorial’s team for eight years as a registered nurse and with the completion of his master’s degree, he will now provide care as a certified nurse practitioner in the emergency department.

— Kara M. Gwinn of Tyrone has joined Tyrone Hospital as Manager of Case Management and Utilization Review.

She will ensure that patients are admitted and transitioned to the appropriate level of care, have an effective plan of care, are receiving prescribed treatment, and have an advocate for services and plans needed during and after their hospital stay.

Course completions and certifications

— Dr. Charles Harvey, medical director of UPMC-Elite Orthopedics of UPMC, has earned the Certified Physician Executive certification from the American Association for Physician Leadership.

CPE designation indicates a physician has achieved superior levels of professional excellence and management education while also demonstrating effective health care industry knowledge and leadership skills.
