Most of accused in Bedford drug bust now in custody

BEDFORD — All but seven of the 22 people involved in a sweeping drug bust in Bedford County in late March are in custody.

Many of those accused of drug-related offenses waived their preliminary hearings in court this week or last.

Zachary Alexander Novac, 24, of New Paris, who was caught with heroin, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility, possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is housed at the Bedford County Jail on a $25,000 cash bail. He waived his hearing Wednesday.

Troy Heming, 20, was caught in the drug bust for marijuana; charges are pending against him, according to the court docket system.

Britannie Lee Neville, 33, of Six Mile Run, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Police arrested her for possessing methamphetamine. She is in jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, and waived her hearing April 3.

Timberly Jo Hess, 25, of New Paris, faces numerous counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She has an unsecured bail of $15,000 and waived her hearing April 3.

Devin Michael Fedoruk, 28, of Bedford, has been charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He posted the 10 percent of his $10,000 bail April 1. Fedoruk waived his hearing Wednesday.

Nicholas Anthony Volkman, 27, of Bedford, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is in jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail and waived his hearing April 3.

Joshua Miller, 20, is accused of possessing heroin. Charges against him are pending.

Jessica Kalfas, 33, has an arrest warrant against her for possessing heroin and crack cocaine. Her charges have not been filed yet.

Joshua Giffin, 26, has an arrest warrant against him for possession of methamphetamine. Charges are pending.

Derrick Lynn Brick, 20, of Imler, faces charges for possessing LSD. He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is in jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail and waived his hearing April 3.

Andrew John Melusky, 27, was caught with marijuana and has been charged with numerous counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He posted $10,000 cash bail March 26 and waived his hearing April 3.

Geordan Blaine Watson, 19, of Schellsburg allegedly had marijuana, LSD and prescription medications on him when arrested by police. He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He has a cash bail of $20,000 and waived his hearing April 3.

Marie Thompson Miller, 46, of Fishertown, was charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of communication facility. Police allegedly caught her with prescription medications. She has an unsecured bail of $15,000 and waived her hearing April 3.

Zachary Tyler Young, 22, of Osterburg, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He posted the 10 percent of his $10,000 bail on March 28 and waived his hearing April 3.

Chae Burtnett, 23, has an arrest warrant for possession heroin. Charges are pending.

Brook Nichole Brumbaugh, 19, of Saxton, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She posted the 10 percent of her $20,000 bail Monday and waived her hearing Wednesday.

Daniel Weaver, 38, of Bedford, has numerous counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia filed against him. He is behind bars in lieu of $50,000 cash bail and waived his hearing April 3.

Lindsay Imler, 27, has an arrest warrant against her for conspiracy and endangering the welfare of children, according to the Bedford County Office of the District Attorney. Charges have not yet been filed.

Gregory Alan Snyder, 26, of Bedford, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He waived his hearing April 3 and has an unsecured bail of $10,000.

Garrett Dalton Foor, 23, of Bedford, who was busted for methamphetamine possession, faces multiple charges for possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is in jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail and waived his hearing April 3.

Romie Caulley, 39, is accused of possessing a counterfeit controlled substance, according to the DA’s office. Charges are still pending.

Jessie William Kelley, 48, faces criminal charges for methamphetamine. Magisterial District Judge Brian Baker transferred Kelley’s charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility and possession of a controlled substance to the Common Pleas Court during a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
