Reward offered for info on theft

Tools taken from truck in Bedford County

BEDFORD — A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest those responsible for the theft of thousands of dollars worth of tools from a truck in Bedford County.

According to state police in Bedford, someone stole about $2,000 in tools from a box truck along Heritage Road in King Township, Bedford County, between

10 p.m. March 13 and 5 a.m. March 14.

The tools taken from the 2003 GMC Savanna truck include a $300 DeWalt four-battery charger and inverter, a $250 DeWalt 20 volt battery, a $300 DeWalt impact driver, a $200 DeWalt hammer drill, a $200 DeWalt jigsaw, a $100 DeWalt grinder, a $400 Paslode 16-gauge angled finish nailer, a $200 Ridgid 19-gauge V finish nailer and a Ridgid 18 volt battery worth $50.

The owner of the tools is offering a $500 cash reward.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Bedford at 623-6133.
