City woman jailed on trespass, drug charges
Behe allegedly had syringes, glass pipe, spoons and cash
An Altoona woman is in jail after she was caught trespassing and in possession of drugs and paraphernalia that police reportedly found during a pat down.
Audry Rebecca Behe, 30, of 2318 Third Ave. faces charges of criminal trespass, three counts of drug possession and delivery, three counts of possession of controlled substance and use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Allegheny Township police said they responded to a call about an in-progress trespassing incident at a mobile home at 222 Buckboard Drive in Duncansville on Thursday. The caller told police she saw a female who was wearing a backpack enter the mobile home and she had not come back out of the residence, from which the former tenants had been evicted, according to a police criminal complaint.
A patrolman from the Duncansville Borough Police Department, who’d been dispatch to help, had allegedly escorted Behe out of the home when a small round yellowish pill fell out of Behe’s left outer coat pocket.
While patting down Behe for weapons, police said they found a clear plastic bag containing numerous white wax packets held together by a rubber band and a bundle of blue wax packets on the inside of her right outer coat pocket. More round yellowish pills like the one that fell out were found in the Behe’s left coat pocket.
When brought to the police station, Behe removed $630 in cash from her bra, but told police that she is currently unemployed, the complaint states. A search of the rest of her bags revealed several smaller pouches containing drugs and drug paraphernalia including methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin, police said.
Behe also allegedly possessed multiple loose pills and tablets and a capsule, which were identified as various prescription medications and controlled substances.
The paraphernalia she reportedly had included five syringes with one loaded with a clear liquid substance, lighters, partial pieces of drinking straws, a glass pipe with a pink hose attached and two spoons, including one with residue.
Behe was arraigned Thursday in front of Magisterial District Judge Steven Jackson and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. March 28 in front of the judge.
She is housed at the Blair County Prison in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
