Burns announces Pennvest session
State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria, has urged municipal officials, engineers and others interested in finding out more about funding opportunities for water and infrastructure projects to attend a free upcoming informational session.
The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority will hold an information session from
9:30 a.m. to noon April 2 at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Cambria District Mining Office, 236 Industrial Park Road.
“Many of our communities can benefit from the information and resources provided by Pennvest,” Burns said. “The state funding and financial assistance offered can provide the needed funding to get sewer, stormwater and drinking water projects off the ground and improve the quality of life for our communities. I highly encourage township and borough officials to consider attending the April 2 information session.”
