Plant sale catalog available

The Cambria County Conservation District’s 47th annual Tree and Plant sale catalog is now available.

Since 1972, the conservation district has been offering seedlings and nursery stock to help customers create small orchards, wildlife habitat, small fruit gardens and beautiful landscapes.

This year’s catalog includes many new varieties of fruit trees, shade and ornamental trees/shrubs and evergreen seedlings. The berry selection includes strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and elderberries. Also available are grapes, asparagus, rhubarb and a selection of perennial flowers, peonies and ground cover. Wildlife boxes are also offered along with support items for plants.

The catalog is available at the conservation district office or call 472-2120 to receive a catalog. Customers can also go on the county website: www.co.cambria.pa.us/Conservation-district.aspx or on the district’s Facebook page to find the catalog and order form.

The deadline for tree and plant orders is March 22 with payment. Orders need to be picked up on April 12 at the American Legion Cambria County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
