Diabetes program available
ATLANTA — Pennsylvania has received funds to offer an online National Diabetes Prevention Program from the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors.
Up to 500 Pennsylvanians will have free access to the evidence-based diabetes prevention program through the Health Promotion Council and an online DPP provider, Hope 80/20. Hope 80/20 delivers all 22 lessons of the prevention curriculum in an online format taught by motivational health coach, Maurice Saliba.
Hope 80/20’s program can begin as soon as someone signs up at http://hope 8020.com/intake-form.
Free participation is available on a first-come-first-served basis.
