State police at Huntingdon are investigating a burglary that occurred Dec. 14 at Waterfall Road in Clay Township. Someone broke into a garage located on a residential property by damaging the door jam and forcing open the door. The person stole a blue Miller MLG 250 welding machine. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Huntingdon.

An unknown person damaged ignition wires to a victim’s 1997 Saturn vehicle Dec. 12 on Main Street in Wood Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Huntingdon at 627-3161.

State police at Huntingdon said a theft took place at the Walmart, at 6719 Towne Center Blvd., Smithfield Township, Dec. 12. The suspect left the store without paying for four cellphones: iPhone 6s, Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy J3 orbit and two AT&T Alcatel Tetra phones. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Huntingdon at 627-3161.

State police at Bedford said about 228 gallons of fuel oil was reported stolen Saturday from an outside tank in West Providence Township.

The theft occurred between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 at a location on Raystown Road. The thief fled in an unknown direction, police said. Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact state police at Bedford at 623-6133.
