Blair County DUI Court accreditation renewed

HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has renewed the accreditation of the Blair County DUI Court, commending the specialty court program for its use of best practices in the field of problem-solving courts.

Blair County’s DUI Court was established in 2011 and was awarded its initial accreditation in 2015 — a distinction that is valid for three years. By maintaining its accreditation, Blair County is better positioned to receive additional state and federal program grant funding to move the program forward.

Accreditation is a thorough examination of the 10 key components and best practice standards, which were established by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, and renewal is a review of their progress and continued adherence to the components and standards.
