The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.

The following defendant was placed on the Probation Without Verdict Program for a period of 30 days. The defendant will pay $40 per month for a supervision fee as well as all costs of prosecution:

Fifth Ave., Altoona, sentenced March 9, 2018, to $600 fine for possession of a controlled substance, filed by Altoona police Jan. 20, 2017; and 36 to 72 months in jail and $200 fine for possession with intent to deliver; and four years’ probation and $200 fine for criminal use of a communication facility, filed by Altoona police Aug. 31, 2016.

Skylar L. Ross, 27, 139 E. Third St., Williamsburg, sentenced March 22, 2018, to three to six years in jail and $500 fine for homicide by vehicle while DUI; one to two years in jail and $250 fine for aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI; 90 days to 18 months in jail and $1,500 fine for DUI; $100 fine and three years’ probation for endangering the welfare of a child; one year of probation and $500 fine for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer; 90 to 180 days in jail and $1,000 fine for driving while license is suspended or revoked; $125 fine for five summary traffic violations; $200 fine for reckless driving; $50 fine for possession of a small amount of marijuana; and $50 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia, filed by Bedford police Nov. 20, 2015.

Curtis W. Ramsey, 32, Blair County Prison, sentenced March 12, 2018, to 24 to 48 months in jail and $200 fine for possession with intent to deliver, filed by Altoona police March 9, 2017; and to 72 to 144 months in jail and $200 fine for criminal conspiracy; 72 to 144 months in jail and $200 fine for aggravated assault; 24 to 47 months in jail and $200 fine for assault by a prisoner; $600 fine for terroristic threats; and $600 fine for possessing instruments of crime, filed by Hollidaysburg police March 18, 2017.

Tabatha J. Fenchak, 37, 1910 12th St., Altoona, sentenced March 5, 2018, to two to five years in jail and $300 fine for criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communication facility, filed by Altoona police March 10, 2017; and two to five years in jail for same charges, filed by Altoona police March 18, 2017; and two to five years in jail for same charges, filed by Altoona police March 9, 2017.

Garlock Jr., 37, 687 Railroad St., Mapleton Depot, sentenced March 9, 2018, to 12 to 24 months in jail and $200 fine for retail theft, $200 fine and 24 months’ probation for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, $300 fine for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, $300 fine for recklessly endangering another person and 48 hours to six months in jail and $300 fine for DUI, filed by Logan Township police Sept. 2, 2017.

Robert L. Schaefer, 48, 301 Plum St., Williamsburg, sentenced March 13, 2018, to $300 fine and six months’ probation for DUI, general impairment, filed by state police Oct. 23, 2017.

Jeffery N. Lego, 32, 224 Chester Lane, Altoona, sentenced March 27, 2018, to 72 hours to six months in jail and $1,000 fine for DUI and $200 fine for driving the wrong way, filed by Logan Township police Dec. 30, 2017.

James T. Brunson II, 36, 211 N. Fifth Ave., Altoona, sentenced March 5, 2018, to three days to six months in jail and $500 fine for DUI and $50 fine and 30 days’ probation for possession of a controlled substance, filed by Altoona police Nov. 8, 2017.

Kassandra M. Perry, 26, 501 Keystone Ave., Cresson, sentenced March 27, 2018, to 72 hours to six months in jail and $1,000 fine for DUI, filed by Allegheny Township police Nov. 4, 2017.
