Sentencings

The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.

Brian A. Thomas, 47, 327 S. Second St., Bellwood, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine and six months’ probation for simple assault after pleading no contest, filed by Bellwood police Oct. 8, 2017.

Jennifer L. Wilkes, 42, 1221 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine for disorderly conduct after pleading no contest, filed by Blair County Sheriff’s Department Sept. 6, 2017.

The following defendants pleaded guilty to the charges shown and were sentenced as follows:

Christopher J. Spanik, 48, 1495 Skyline Drive, Blandburg, sentenced Dec. 22, 2017, to three to nine months in jail and $200 fine for theft by unlawful taking, filed by Altoona police Sept. 15, 2017.

Allyssa M. McCaulley, 19, 608 10th St., first floor, Altoona, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine and one year of probation for retail theft, filed by Blair County District Attorney’s Office May 16, 2017.

Joseph J. Baker, 25, 307 Eveningtide Ave., Altoona, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine for disorderly conduct, filed by Altoona police Sept. 16, 2017.

Miranda S. Dunn, 20, 2216 Ninth St., Apt. 1, Altoona, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine and 18 months’ probation for theft by unlawful taking, filed by Altoona police June 7, 2017.

Jason P. Neil, 35, 2257 Columbia Ave., Tyrone, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia, filed by Tyrone police Sept. 5, 2017.

Daniel J. Brunner, 21, 1300 Second Ave., Altoona, sentenced Dec. 18, 2017, to $100 fine and six months’ probation for retail theft, filed by Allegheny Township police Sept. 11, 2017.
