Police: Man threatened, stalked ex-wife
An Altoona man faces charges of stalking, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment for reportedly threatening to shoot his ex-wife and her boyfriend with a gun multiple times Saturday.
Richard Young, 31, of 1320 16th Ave. reportedly saw his ex-wife, Lorelei Young, and her boyfriend, Donald Dravis, at Prospect Pool at 1201 Second Ave., according to a police report.
An argument broke out among the three. Richard Young reportedly tried to punch Dravis a couple times, but missed.
Lorelei Young reported to officers that her ex-husband told her he and some of his friends would visit her house with guns and shoot them. She also alleged she saw Richard Young drive past her residence in his black Chrysler 300.
A witness also reportedly saw RichardYoung sitting on the porch of Lorelei’s residence, 1016 17th Ave., at one point, waiting for her to arrive home.
Bail was set at $40,000. Young is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. June 20 in front of Magisterial District Judge Benjamin Jones.
