Man allegedly kills dog

An Everett man faces multiple criminal charges for allegedly threatening to kill a woman and for killing her dog.

Donn Reyan Jr., 45, of 1481 East Graceville Road, is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals and misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person from the June 13 incident.

Reyan reportedly shot the victim’s dog, which was sitting beside her outside

of her residence in Breezewood, before threatening to kill the victim, according to a police complaint. Reyan then left the residence to visit the victim’s son’s residence.

State police reported that attempts to talk with the defendant after 30 minutes were unsuccessful.

Reyan’s bail was revised Wednesday to $50,000 unsecured. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 5.
