Philipsburg man to stand trial for drugs

CLEARFIELD – A Philipsburg man will stand trial for having methamphetamine, cocaine and other drugs in his home.

Mark Lynn Rinehart, 38, is charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony count of conspiracy, three misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of state police executing a search warrant on his Chester Hill residence on April 27.

Rinehart waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday during centralized court in Clearfield County, sending his case on to the county court. He remains in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, when state police searched his home, they found multiple items of drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, 12 containers of methamphetamine, 13 containers of cocaine, five containers of bath salts, Suboxone strips and 12 unknown pills.

His co-defendant, Lyndsie Lea Holderman, 26, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on the same charges on May 9.

She is incarcerated in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.
