Three face charges for moving body
HUNTINGDON — Three people face charges they moved the body of a 24-year-old woman found dead last week in Huntingdon County.
Kaci Fisher was found dead on Red Rose Road in Jackson Township, Huntingdon County, on the morning of March 4, and at the time state police indicated they believed the 24-year-old’s body had been dumped after her death.
State police at Huntingdon said Monday that 27-year-old Edward Grist, 43-year-old Jason Parks and 39-year-old Jodi Bishop became suspects after numerous interviews after Fisher’s body was found. On Monday, each was charged with misdemeanor conspiracy, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Police said Parks and Grist admitted that they, along with Bishop, were with Fisher and dumped her body on Red Rose Road after she died of a suspected drug overdose.
State police continue to investigate and are following leads to determine if other people may have been involved in the incident.
