Police: Threat at school not credible
A reported school terroristic threat involving a weapon at Southern Huntingdon County High School has no credibility, according to a state police report.
On Thursday, state police at Huntingdon responded to a school threat posted on Facebook that referenced “SHS school” and “bringing a gun to school.”
According to a police report, the post referencing “SHS school” is unfounded at other locations in the United States.
State police want to remind the public and students that any threat will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The police also encourage the public to report any school threats to law enforcement.
