Hyndman man accused of rape
A Hyndman man faces dozens of charges for allegedly raping two teenage girls, according to police and court records.
State police charged Bradley Allan Blocher, 29, with charges including forcible rape, aggravated indecent assault on a child and sexual assault. The charges were first filed last week; Blocher was taken into custody Tuesday, according to court documents.
Blocher allegedly raped two girls ages 13 and 15, WJAC-TV reported, citing a state police report from the McConnellsburg station.
The investigation covers a period spanning from 2013-17.
He remains in Bedford County jail in lieu of $400,000 bail and faces a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Tonya M. Osman, a court record shows.
Inmate indicted by grand jury
An inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Loretto was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury, which determined he possessed a prohibited object while imprisoned, according to WJAC-TV.
Edward R. Harris, 42, was found to be in the possession of marijuana early this year, WJAC reported, citing Acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song.
