Saint Francis receives gift

LORETTO – Saint Francis University has received a $250,000 gift in support of The Capital Campaign: Called to Serve … Fulfilling the Promise, from Seattle businessman Bill Adamucci, a 1966 economics graduate, in support of the Schwab Hall renovation project.

Schwab Hall, originally constructed in the 1930s by steel magnate Charles M. Schwab, is slated to become the new home of the university’s school of business.

Adamucci, an entrepreneur with a strong background in mergers, acquisitions and the fundraising arena, has raised more than $40 million dollars over the past five years for nonprofit organizations such as the FareStart Restaurant/job training program for the homeless in Seattle.

The goal of the university’s capital campaign is to raise funds for the construction/renovation of major campus academic facilities with an estimated total cost of $45 million.
