Police: Huntingdon County man assaulted teenage boy
HUNTINGDON – A Huntingdon County man is behind bars after state police say he sexually assaulted a teenage boy.
Andrew J. Patterson, 29, of Mill Creek is accused of locking a 15-year-old boy in his barn when the boy was at Pattersons farm on Mill Creek Hollow Road to do work, according to state police at Huntingdon.
Police said Patterson pinned the boy to the ground and performed oral sex on him in May.
Patterson, who is awaiting sentencing on a previous case involving unlawful contact with minors, according to online court records, was arraigned Tuesday on felony rape, statuatory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of minors charges as well as a misdmeanor charge of indecent assault.
Magisterial District Judge Richard Wilt set bail at $100,000 cash, and Patterson was lodged in Huntingdon County Jail pending a preliminary hearing Aug. 12.
