Man charged in two incidents in one day

MUNSON – A Morrisdale man was charged in two separate incidents Saturday.

Philipsburg state police said that about 5:50 p.m., William Lamb Jr., 23, and a 33-year-old Philipsburg man arrived at a gravel parking lot on Casanova Road and became involved in an argument with a 45-year-old Morrisdale man and a 22-year-old Morrisdale woman.

During the course of the argument, Lamb allegedly punched the woman and struck the man with a stick several times, causing minor injuries.

Lamb and the Philipsburg man fled the scene but were later discovered at a residence in Morrisdale where Lamb was taken into custody.

He was charged with simple assault and harassment before Magisterial District Judge Kelly Gillette Walker.

About 9 p.m., Lamb allegedly damaged numerous items belonging to the 22-year-old Morrisdale woman on Morrisdale Allport Highway. He was charged with criminal mischief in connection with that incident.
