Tyrone Area set to approve budget
TYRONE – The Tyrone Area school board is set to approve the posting of its 2014-15 general fund budget for the public at its regular session next week.
At its work session Tuesday, the board did not reveal many details about the budget, but president James Crawford did say there would be no tax increase for residents in the district.
Business Administrator John Clark said the financial operations committee was pleased with the budget.
“I think that the budget as an education tool, so to speak, provides for everything,” Clark said. “It meets our needs in our efforts to educate young people.”
