Man arrested for carrying unregistered firearm

A Bedford County man was arrested late Tuesday and charged with carrying an unlicensed firearm, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Bedford.

Joshua Hogan, 43, of New Paris had been stalking a 38-year-old woman in several locations, police said.

He was arrested by state police after entering a property he was not permitted to be on, according to police, near the intersection of Hinton Road and Taylor Road in Napier Township.

State police troopers found a loaded concealed pistol on Hogan’s person at the time of his arrest, police said. Hogan has also been charged with stalking, criminal trespass, loitering, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.

Hogan’s bail has been set for $75,000.
