Police: Woman in zebra costume punched in face

PHILIPSBURG – State police at Philipsburg said an 18-year-old woman dressed up as a local radio station mascot was punched in the face Saturday morning by a Tyrone man.

According to police, Nicole Gass of Julian was dressed as a zebra and walking toward Lykens Market in Port Matilda when Ronald Hagg, 47, Tyrone punched the mascot head.

The two were standing between two parked cars when the incident occurred.

Hagg is charged with harassment.

The extent of Gass’ injuries was unclear Sunday.
